Kids Sleepover Fun: DIY Candy Necklaces

Looking for a no-fuss activity your kiddo and their friends can do at the next sleepover? Homemade DIY candy necklaces are your answer! The project is easy to set up and the kids get to be creative and take home edible jewelry! That is, if they don’t get eaten before they leave the house.


  • Bakers twine, thread or ribbon
  • Candy that has holes for easy threading (You can substitute candy for cereal)


DIY Step 1

Set up the candy necklace making station by separating the candy by colors or by type and place them into small bowls.

Cut enough string for each guest in the appropriate sizes.
