3 DIY Edible Face Masks Perfect For A Kids Spa Sleepover

Kids deserve to be pampered, and what better way to pamper your little one and their friends than with a spa party! We’ve found three DIY edible face masks that they are sure to love!

Take the spa day up a notch by making it interactive. Have the children pick which mask they want to use and help them create it themselves. Each face mask can be created in just a few simple steps. Within no time everyone will be relaxing and enjoying their spa day.

Check with the parents first to make sure their child isn’t allergic to any of the ingredients in the masks. Wash face immediately if irritation occurs and consult the child’s physician.

 

Oatmeal Face Mask

What You’ll Need:

  • 1 cup of oatmeal
  • 6 tablespoons honey
  • 6 tablespoons plain yogurt
  • 1 sliced cucumber
  • Face towels

Step 1:

Cook one cup of oatmeal based on the directions on the package.

Step 2:

Mix the 6 tablespoons of honey and 6 tablespoons of plain yogurt together.

Step 3:

Combine oatmeal, honey and yogurt together. Set aside to cool to room temperature.

Step 4:

Apply the mask to face while avoiding eye area and place two cucumber slices to closed eyes.

Step 5:

Relax and let the mask sit for 10 to 15 minutes before rinsing off with warm water and drying with a towel.

  • ½ cup of unsweetened cocoa
  • ½ cup of plain yogurt
  • ¼ cup of honey
  • 1 sliced cucumber 
  • Face towels

Step 1:

Mix the ½ cup of unsweetened cocoa, ½ cup of plain yogurt and ¼ cup of honey.

Step 2:

Apply the mask to face while avoiding eye area and place two cucumber slices to closed eyes.

Step 3:

Relax and let the mask sit for 10 to 15 minutes before rinsing off with warm water and drying with a towel.

Mash the 3 ripe bananas in a bowl.

Step 2:

Mix the ¾ cup of plain yogurt and 3 tablespoons of honey into the bowl with the mashed bananas.

Step 3:

Apply the mask to face while avoiding eye area and place two cucumber slices to closed eyes.

Step 4:

Relax and let the mask sit for 15 to 20 minutes before rinsing off with warm water and drying with a towel.
